SLO County Commission on the Status of Women and Girls The Commission on the Status of Women and Girls is an official advisory group to the San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors established in 1975.

The Commission identifies issues of concern to women and girls of San Luis Obispo County, provides input to County officials, and collaborates with other organizations to address the needs of women and girls in our community. The mission of the Commission on the Status of Women and Girls is to work to improve the lives of women and girls in San Luis Obispo County by advocating for equal rights and

collaborating with agencies and programs that support the health, socioeconomic and professional well-being of women and girls in our community. We meet on the first Tuesday of every month, currently on zoom, starting at 5:30pm. Our meetings are open to public and everyone is welcome to attend.
