The Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division released PIN 24-02-CCLD notifying all Community Care licensees, providers, and applicants of updated best practices when initiating a background check and provides step-by-step instructions on how to navigate the application process in the Guardian System.

HEALTH ADVISORY released from Department of Social Services Community Care Licensing Division: Potential Lead Contamination in Cinnamon Applesauce pouches Affected Products: WanaBana, Schnucks, and Weis have initiated voluntary recalls of certain lots of the following products:
• WanaBana brand apple cinnamon fruit purée pouches,
• Schnucks brand cinnamon-flavored applesauce pouches and variety packs, and
• Weis brand cinnamon applesauce pouches.
