Friends of Cal Poly K9 Dex Dex is a 1.5-year-old dual-purpose police K9 trained in Patrol and Explosive Ordnance Detection (EOD). Full of energy and drive & cant wait yo meet you all.

He proudly serves with the Cal Poly Police Department and supports the City of San Luis Obispo. What is a Police Canine? A Police K-9 is an extremely versatile and valued member of the police department. It will greatly enhance public safety on the Cal Poly University Campus and provide a tremendous resource in areas of search and rescue, suspect apprehension, officer safety and public relations.

The purchase and training of these valuable police service dogs could not be accomplished without considerable financial support from individuals and businesses in the community. Please consider donating today!

Happy 10th Birthday to retired K9 Zeus!

Itā€™s hard to believe Zeus is already 10 years old. Heā€™s been retired for almost a year now and has been loving every minute of it.

His days are filled with playing with his buddy Bucky, traveling, camping adventures, and plenty of walks.

Even in retirement, some things never changeā€”his favorite place is still by my side, watching over his family and making sure weā€™re all safe.
