The power of community! Last tuesday I attended the SLO city council meeting to report on the status of the kids pump track at Laguna Lake. For those who don't know... the city is building a bike park @ Laguna Lake park. The city is promoting it as a test ( temporary and not permanent) to test the demand and placate the uproar over destroying the Coastco jumps. I wanted to put down a marker ( it's now on record.) That this test is a joke and the data collected will be of no use. I also mentioned that the city needs to fund the bike park in the same ammount as bat and ball sport's. Then I pointed out that The Euc's was never completed and the city needs to replace the wall ride and build a new one. We have the terrain and could have world class trails if we had the support. Join me next month at the county supervisors meeting to avocate the county to step up at El Chorro as well.

To all/anyone left paying attention! It's time to revise this page and it's mission.
For all riders we must unite on 3 opportunities available to all.
1. Band together as riders to promote the future development of our awesome locations for bike parks and gravity trails.
2. Bring our needs to the attention of stake holders at city and county agencies.
3. Motivate riders to unite around improving and completing " The Euc's " and addressing the abysmal pump track the city built to replace Costco Jumps.
Whats left of this group we can start from here.
Who will help me promote and build the El Chorro Bike Park?
Who will help promote and build new features at the Eucs?
Who will join me representing Us?

Hello...
Anyone interested in improving the Euc's with some new features? Don't ask? Don't Volunteer? Don't get!
Here's the deal...Fasta has been decommissioned by 3CMB however 3CMB still functions as a maintenance co provider to City. Rangers. Therefore those of you who would like to see additional features added (note trail #3 and phase 3 have never been completed)
So I'm updateing this page to see who's out there to lobby 3CMB and the city to add more features. On my personal list would be a new wall ride and some Deadman drop jumps. Easy to build and materials are all ready there. So? Who wants to build for spring 24?

Fasta de Mayo is Back!
Free shuttles up the grade @ CBO SLO from 10:30 - 3PM to showcase "The Euc's " and celebrate Bike Month. Refreshments and snacks provided by SLO GOG/Bike Month grant. Come out and ride!
