YOU ARE INVITED! Tomorrow, May 15, starting at 2 p.m., Cal Poly Alumni - Latinx Community and Kennedy Library Special Collections and Archives are hosting an alumni-student panel discussion in Kennedy Library, Room 103.

The panel explores the importance of preserving cultural heritage and provides a behind the scenes look at the “Who We Are and How We Show Up” exhibit that ran in Kennedy Library in fall 2025. Panelists will also be sharing some of their lived experiences, including how they found community through student organizations and club activity and faculty/staff mentorship. Following the panel, guests can view a pop-up of the “Who We Are and How We Show Up” exhibit, as well as select items from community members and Cal Poly. Special Collections and Archives is also piloting an oral history project to record some of the lived experiences of alumni.

The FREE event is open to students, faculty/staff, alumni and the broader campus community. Light refreshments will be provided.
