• 131,700 civilians were in the labor force in SLO County: down from a revised 132,400
o 126,400 were employed; down from a revised 126,900
o 5,200 were unemployed; down from a revised 5,500
• SLO County Unemployment rate decreased to 4.0% in April, down from the revised 4.1% March rate
• Unemployment rate was 5.0% at the State level down from the 5.2% March rate and to 4.0% at the National level also down from 4.3% the previous month
• SLO County ranked 8th lowest unemployment rate in the state
