Our Child Nutrition Assistants returned today, and we couldn’t be more excited to kick off another school year together! 🙌

We started Day 1 with mandatory program training, team time, and celebrating some amazing people! 🏆✨

We recognized years of service and celebrated a few of our 2025–2026 Employees of the Year—because the people behind the meals deserve to be celebrated! 👏❤️

We’re ready. We’re excited. And we’re gearing up to FEED OUR STUDENTS! 🍎🥗

☀️💜 Another Great Day on the Purple Bus! 💜☀️

Today our Purple Bus made its stop at the San Marcos Public Library, where we had the privilege of serving nutritious summer meals to children in our community.

From fresh fruit and healthy lunches to smiling faces and fun activities, every meal served helps fuel learning, growth, and adventure all summer long. 📚🍎🥪

A huge thank you to our amazing San Marcos CISD Child Nutrition team for their dedication and hard work, and to the San Marcos Public Library for partnering with us to make healthy meals accessible to local families.

If you have children 18 years of age or younger, there's still time to join us! Our Summer Meals Program is free and open to all children.
