- electing Democratic candidates to office in the local, state and national arena,
- fostering Democratic ideals by stimulating active interest in the Democratic Party
- supporting the party plat

- providing a role for volunteers in politics and community
- promoting an activist base
supporting community outreach and activism
- ensuring fair redistricting
- fighting for voting rights for all
- donating to Democratic candidates
- providing educational and instructional presentations
