Southside's Housing Stability Program team works hard every single day to meet the needs of our neighbors. Not only do they run our Transitional Shelter, Eviction Prevention, and Emergency Assistance programs, they also provide case management support, resource connection, and a listening ear.

This team includes three staff members and two Texas State interns, all of whom care deeply about this community. Together, they have accomplished great things and we are so proud!

Spring Fair is only 18 days away! We have a great lineup of games, food, music, and fun for all.

Tickets include all food and activities, except Dunk a Doctor and Pie a Politician. Each attendee will be able to choose one of these activities. Additional tickets for the dunk tank or pie-ing will be available for $5 each or $20 for 5.

A huge thank you to the Theta Chi and Darlings members who helped get one of our shelter residents moved into permanent housing! 🎉

Transitional Housing clients stay in shelter for up to 60 days while receiving case management, access to our daily services, and housing support. Thanks to our partnership with Blanco River Regional Recovery Team-BR3T, this program is extremely cost effective (less than 10% of the cost to the community to support one unhoused individual), and stabilizes clients for the long-term.

We are proud to partner with Student Involvement at TXST on Service Saturdays, and are SO thankful to the awesome Southside volunteers who sign up for Southside Saturdays, not knowing exactly what they are getting into.
