💛 Practicing Respect by Helping Our Community! 💛

This month, we’re practicing the character trait RESPECT by showing respect for our community and helping local families in need through the Hays County Food Bank Macaroni & Cheese Drive! 🧀

If your family is able and would like to contribute, please send macaroni & cheese donations with your child to school beginning Tuesday, September 8th. Donations will be collected through the end of September.

Let’s Stack the Mac and help support families in our community! 💛

Este mes estamos practicando el valor de RESPETO al apoyar a nuestra comunidad y ayudar a las familias locales que lo necesitan por medio de la colecta de macarrones con queso del Banco de Alimentos del Condado de Hays. 🧀

Si su familia puede y desea contribuir, puede enviar donaciones de macarrones con queso con su hijo(a) a la escuela a partir del martes 8 de septiembre. Estaremos recolectando donaciones hasta finales de septiembre.

Happy Hunger Action Month! This week, we're focusing on bringing awareness to the prevalence of hunger in America and in our county. Every conversation counts and it is always worthwhile to speak up for the change you want to see in your community. Hays County Food Bank will be closed tomorrow in observance of Labor Day! Our offices and services will be closed Monday, September 7th.
We will return Tuesday, September 8th with all of our normally scheduled services.

✴️STACK THE MAC is BACK!✴️

September is Hunger Action Month! All month we go ORANGE to promote hunger awareness. This year we're bringing back our famous Stack the Mac to collect macaroni and cheese to fight food insecurity in Hays County.

We take a three-pronged approach to fighting hunger this month, encouraging people to ADVOCATE, VOLUNTEER, and DONATE!
