Hays County Crime Stoppers and the San Marcos Police Department are requesting assistance in a credit/debit card abuse case (case # SMPD 2026-35197 and SMPD 2026-33679).

On July 30, 2026, the victim believed he had dropped his wallet at a dog park in the City of San Marcos. Not long after, the victim’s credit card was used at a GameStop in San Marcos. According to the GameStop transaction, investigators believe the suspect purchased Pokémon Cards in the amount of $248.95 using one of the victim’s cards.

Hays County Crime Stoppers and the Hays County Sheriff's Office are requesting assistance in a theft case (case # HCSO 2026-45997).

On August 7, 2026, at approximately 9:00 PM, an unidentified female suspect unlawfully took a package from an apartment complex in Buda, Texas, committing theft. The suspect is described as a white female with light-colored hair. She was wearing a light purple T-shirt with dark lettering, black leggings or pants, and white shoes.
