Hays County Crime Stoppers and the Hays County Sheriff's Office are requesting assistance in a burglary of a building case (case # HCSO 22026-29641).

Detectives are investigating two storage unit burglary cases involving the same suspects. In both incidents, forced entry was used to gain access, and multiple items, including tools and fi****ms, were stolen. The first incident occurred on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at approximately 4:00 AM at Extra Space Storage off Hwy 290 in Dripping Springs. The second incident occurred on Monday, May 18, 2026, between 10:00 PM and midnight at RightSpace Storage in Wimberley.

Suspect 1 is a white male who wore black and white Nike shoes in both burglaries. Suspect 2 is a white male with a tattoo on his left hand, left wrist, and inner left forearm, and appears to have a pronounced hunched posture.

Hays County Crime Stoppers and the Hays County Sheriff's Office are requesting assistance in locating a missing person/runaway (case # HCSO 2026-31552).

On Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at approximately 6 PM, Samantha Snell ran away from a family residence in Buda. Samantha is 15 years old, 5’06, 130 lbs., with black hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a grey hoodie and black shorts. Samantha has a right nose piercing, a burn mark on her left arm, and a birthmark on her left mid-thigh.

Based on the investigation, Samantha is believed to possibly be in the Austin area.

Hays County Crime Stoppers and the Hays County Sheriff's Office are requesting assistance in a criminal mischief case (case # HCSO 22026-28508).

On Friday, May 1, 2026, at approx. 11 PM, and on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at approx. 9 PM, four unidentified males vandalized property at Anytime Storage off Windy Hill Rd in Kyle.

During both occurrences, the unidentified males caused damage to a storage unit and discharged multiple fire extinguishers, resulting in damage to their housing containers. Surveillance shows the males climbed a fence to access the property, and at least one male was seen riding a scooter.

Hays County Crime Stoppers and the Hays County Sheriff's Office are requesting assistance in a case (case # HCSO 2026-25959).

On Saturday, May 2, 2026, at approximately 2:30 PM, an unknown suspect unlawfully took the victim’s Apple iPhone 17 Pro, encased in a transparent glitter-style cover, from the QT convenience store located in Buda, Texas. During the incident, an older male subject advised that he knew the location of the stolen device but refused to provide further information.

The primary suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 16–19 years of age. The accompanying driver was described as an older Hispanic male, approximately in his mid-40s. Both subjects were observed leaving the area in a white Chevrolet Express van. The victim used the device's tracking feature, which indicated that the phone’s last known location was along Interstate 35 South near Natalia, Texas.
