Have you ever wondered how books are bound? Ever wanted to learn how to bind or rebind books yourself? Join us as Jennifer Graves teaches a more in-depth Book Binding workshop series for adults! Born May 23, 1910-1952 in Brooklyn, New York; Brown wrote many of our favorite children's books from "Goodnight Moon" to "Runaway Bunny." Earlier this month, the San Marino Historical Society hosted author Paul Haddad. He spoke about his most recent book, "Inventing Paradise: The Power Brokers Who Created the Dream of Los Angeles." Members of the community found themselves enraptured in his knowledge of the leading voices of Los Angeles and their complex relationships that influenced our local society. Get ready for our annual Summer Reading Club Kick-Off! The theme this year is "Plant a Seed, Read!"🌱Join us on Saturday, June 6 from 12 - 3 PM for an opportunity to sign up for Summer Reading Club, make crafts, play games, and buy something tasty from the dessert truck.

Activities include:
