Thank you all for the love and support over the decades. We enjoyed hearing stories about how our food brought much comfort and good times for families.

Last day is busy and we are running out of favorites. You still can come for some chow Mein, bbq pork fried rice, fried won ton, and fried prawns.

In addition to the restaurant closing, we are grieved to announce the passing of our father, who worked tirelessly from 1958 thru 1986. He was always greeting customers, passing out cookies to the kids. How fitting that this is the week he chose to leave this earth. Rest In Peace, Dad. You are once again dining at a table with Mom.

This well written story expresses the sentiments of many Chinese restaurant kids. We will miss this block.

Wing Fat is part of an earlier generation of Chinese restaurants, a counter serving relics of Cantonese American cuisine that are starting to fade away on the Peninsula.

We also have to liquidate the restaurant. Any restaurants need good and sturdy equipment, prepware. utensils and serving ware?

The last day of the restaurant will be July 24. So many memories. Here is one showing granddaughter number one "working" and pouring tea for her grandfather. Also notice that the shelves behind him were used not only to sell items, but as a stockroom. You can actually see the ingredients that go into the food.
