Families who are new to our district and are looking to enroll for the 2022-2023 school year can do so now. This includes families registering for kindergarten and transitional kindergarten (transitional kindergarten students must turn 5 between September 2, 2022 and February 2, 2023).

Please visit www.wccusd.net/newfamilyenrollment to find out more information and enroll.

Enroll today with an easy three step process:

1. Find your Neighborhood School at https://bit.ly/wccusdschoolsitelocator. In the interactive SchoolSite Locator you will enter an address in the search box or browse through the map to find the schools of attendance!

2. Register online. To do this, you will need an email account, a PowerSchools account (this is set up during online registration), and the required documents ready to upload or present in person to the school site. The following documents are required for registration at your school:
a. Verification of residency (two documents)
b. Age Verification: birth certificate or Baptismal record
c. Immunization record
d. Parent, guardian, or caregiver identification (one document)
e. Documents required under special circumstances

3. After submitting your complete online registration form, contact your resident school to make an appointment for in-person ID Verification and Confirmation. Registration is not complete until you have your in person appointment.

The West Contra Costa Education Fair, a collaboration between WCCUSD and EnrollWCC, exists to champion the power of education. This year, the West Contra Costa Education Fair is thrilled to introduce the West Contra Costa School Champion Awards to honor all of the hard work of West Contra Costa’s school support staff. We need your help to recognize these incredible individuals in our community!

Do you know a superstar staff member that is making an impact for kids and families at a school in West Contra Costa? If so, help us highlight these school champions and their dedication to serving our young people by nominating them for our West Contra Costa School Champion Award. Winners will be announced on Saturday January 29, 2022 at the in-person West Contra Costa Education Fair.

The WCCUSD Board of Education will resume in person sessions. Due to the Pandemic, safety protocols have been added for all attendees for the in person sessions. Online registration will be required prior to attending the Board meetings. Space is limited to only 100 attendees and space will be reserved based on time of submission of this request.

Please complete the attendance form (https://bit.ly/BoardMeetingAttendance) if you intend to attend the in person Board Meetings.

Here are important actions based on the current CDPH and County Health COVID-19 guidelines that are to be followed at all times by school board trustees, staff and in person attendees during all the in person sessions:

1. Pre-online registration
2. Masks will be required at all times
3. Show proof of vaccination (physical card) or negative test (physical test) within 72 hours at day of event
4. Agree to the WCCUSD COVID screening process before entering the meeting
