This Memorial Day, we pause to remember those who gave everything β€” so that we could have everything.

To the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country: your courage, your commitment, and your memory will never be forgotten.

To the families who carry their absence every single day β€” thank you. Your loss is felt by a grateful nation.

May we take at least one moment today to truly honor the fallen, not just enjoy the long weekend.

πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ Rest in honor. Never forgotten.

For over 40 years the San Rafael Fire Department and the Marinwood Community Services District have had a partnership that provides 9-1-1 Fire and EMS response in Northern San Rafael.

Two years ago the safe and reliable response started to erode and it’s taken a tremendous toll on the firefighters at Station 58 and it has jeopardized the life safety of the residents in Terra Linda, Northern San Rafael, Marinwood, and Lucas Valley.

Both of these jurisdictions need to be laser focused on the long term Contract for Services and full consolidation of the fire departments for everyone’s sake.

If you have questions, please contact us at the Marin Professional Firefighters. πŸš’ πŸ”₯

The plan involves consolidating the departments in phases over several years to ease staffing problems and reduce pay disparities.
