Meet Jorge from Jorge's Tree Service. Jorge helps with our Wildfire Prevention Direct Assistance program, where we will remove hazardous vegetation from your property for free!

Why is it important that we invest money into preventing wildfires? A recent UC Davis study found that every $1 spent on wildfire prevention saves $3.75 in potential damages.

Congratulations to SRFD's very own James Irvine (left) for being recognized at the California EMS Authority's Parademic of the Year!

James Irvine is an exceptional paramedic whose contributions have strengthened not only the San Rafael Fire Department but the entire Marin County EMS system. His dedication to service, education, mentorship, specialty team involvement, and outstanding patient care made him a truly deserving candidate for this award. He has accomplished so much for our department and we cannot wait to watch his successes over the years.

We are extremely lucky to have him at SRFD. ..
