Marin County Law Library

Marin County Law Library The Marin County Law Library provides access to legal information resources through a variety of media.

The Marin County Public Law Library is part of the California County Law Library system and was established more than 125 years ago, in 1891. The Law Library provides free public access to legal information through books, periodicals, and a newly upgraded computer system. We pride ourselves on our service, and besides providing practical materials to attorneys and judges, work especially hard to h

elp our self-represented litigants, who make up more than half our 4000 annual patrons. When people want to know more about their rights, they can come to our county’s public law library, where we make it possible for the general public to use the law to solve problems, access justice, leverage opportunities, and have their day in court.

Transitioning to adulthood can feel uncertain, but the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, Section 504, the Americans with Disabilities Act, as well as available resources, help ensure our high school students begin preparing for a thriving and successful life after high school, no matter what that looks like.

Join Disability Rights Education and Defense Fund (DREDF) for a free webinar, What Comes Next? Transition for High School Students with Disabilities, on Monday, June 8 from 7 to 8:45 p.m. In this session, DREDF advocates will guide parents and students through the special education transition process from start to finish.
