🚑 Last night at our monthly meeting, we familiarized ourselves with our LUCAS device.

The LUCAS device extends the reach of care by maintaining chest compressions during transport. By increasing provider safety, avoiding fatigue over long durations and reducing transport risks by allowing caregivers to sit belted, the LUCAS device can help calm the scene and provide an extra pair of hands. 🚑

SAAM 1 is ready for a date with state. 🚑

The state inspector is coming this week to check up on Sanborn Ambulance. They will be looking into what supplies we use/carry in the ambulance, how we do our documentation, the way we work on calls, and much more. We are excited to show them how hard we’re working to keep this service up and running!

We are overwhelmed with joy and gratitude from the support received tonight with our pizza fundraiser. We are so blessed to be a part of such a large community of supporters. Huge thank you to Sanborn Golf & Country Club for making tonight happen. 🍕🚑
