Have you been storing a can of oil-based paint in your garage for twenty years that you used to paint a fence that's been gone for fifteen? Yeah, neither have we. Nope. Never. But if YOU have, now is your time to SHINE.

You've Got Mail!
(You've had 28 years to watch the movie so if this image is a spoiler, that's on you).

Tax bills were sent out last week with a due date of July 7th. Even if your tax bill is paid via escrow, you will STILL get a paper bill and it is recommended that you review it.

Property tax bills can be paid online, and an electronic check is only $.95 to process. Simply click “Pay Property Tax Online” from our homepage.

Please note that, due to the Town Clerk’s deadlines for liening and deeding of properties, the online payment kiosk will be unavailable during the following dates:

June 4 to June 11
June 15 to June 19
June 26 to July 2

This weather has the sun shining and flags flying...a perfect reminder that you can now sponsor an American flag to be hung in the Square! An engraved tag will also be added to the plaque in the Town Office with your name and dedicatee.

Flags are installed yearly by the Selectboard before Memorial Day and fly until after Veterans Day. Forms can be found in the Town Office or printed from sanborntonnh.org and returned to the Town Office on or before June 1st. Checks can be made payable to the Town of Sanbornton in the amount of $60.

Help us recognize those who have served and celebrate our community in a display for all to enjoy.

Brand new tax maps have just been added to the website from the Assessing page > Property Record Cards & Tax Maps. These reflect any subdivisions or land mergers recorded since May of 2025. The maps have also been changed so that portions of land incorrectly labeled “Conservation Easement” are now marked “Conservation Area” (you were losing sleep over this, I just know it).

Meetings typically take place in the late fall during the budgeting season, usually on Mondays. If you are interested in serving, please fill out the volunteer application (link below) and drop off at the Town Office or email to [email protected].
