Gafney Library

Gafney Library The Gafney Library is the public library for residents of Wakefield and Brookfield, NH. The Gafney is connected to the Wakefield Town Hall.

As a nonprofit organization the Gafney is responsible for fundraising to augment the 85% funding from both Towns.

Ahoy, mateys! ⚓🚤

Join Ms. Susan tomorrow, Friday, May 22nd at 10:00 a.m. for a boat-themed storytime adventure at the library! She will be reading Row Row Row Your Boat by Jane Cabrera and Busy Boats by Susan Steggall.

After storytime, youths will have the opportunity to create their very own boats for an extra special activity—we’ll be heading outside to float them in a pool and we'll see whose boat sails the best! 🌊⛵

Tomorrow’s Storytime with Ms. Susan will be extra sweet as we celebrate Chocolate Chip Cookie Day! 🍪

Join us Friday at 10:00 a.m. as Ms. Susan reads The Cow Loves Cookies by Karma Wilson and The Duckling Gets a Cookie by Mo Willems. After storytime, youths will have the opportunity to create a fun cookie craft and enjoy a tasty treat!

We hope you’ll join us for this deliciously fun morning at the library!
