On Saturday, August 29, the Varsity Cross Country teams competed in the Al Constable Invitational. After capturing the team championship at the Concord Invitational last Wednesday, the boys continued their strong start to the season by earning another 1st place championship trophy. The girls had several strong individual performances and finished in 4th place.

Top performances for the boys team were turned in by Silas Daniels, Blake Root, Tre Fluker, Alec Parker, Luke Meckley, and Noah Hassenzahl. Top performances for the girls team were turned in by Makayla Six, Dannyell Grimes, Rylee Martis, Megan Huston, and Jill Emery.
