🇺🇸 American Legion Post 17 Supports Our Community's Youth 🇺🇸

American Legion Post 17 is proud to present a $1,000 donation to Church That Matters in recognition of their incredible support of Sand Springs student-athletes.

Through their servant-hearted ministry, Church That Matters faithfully prepares and provides meals for local sports teams before their games, ensuring our young athletes are fueled, encouraged, and ready to compete. Their commitment to our community exemplifies what it means to invest in the next generation.

This donation reflects one of the Four Pillars of the American Legion: Children & Youth. We believe that supporting organizations that care for and encourage our young people helps build stronger families, stronger communities, and a brighter future.

Last night, 20 members of our veteran family gathered at Sand Springs Crescent Café for another great Family Dinner. These monthly gatherings are more than just a meal. They are an opportunity to connect, share stories, build friendships, and support one another.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening so special. Whether you're a longtime member or attending for the first time, you're part of our family.

We look forward to seeing even more veterans, family members, and friends at next month's dinner. Until then, stay connected, stay engaged, and remember that you're never alone.
