It's what's for Breakfast! 🍑 Waffles.... 😋 Today was National Peach Day & National Waffle Day, so we combined the two for a delicious low fat waffle breakfast! Used skim milk and one egg per batch.....so yummy!

Our leader had the opportunity to share in a webinar hosted by the Georgia Gerontology Society on Monday. She represented our Center well as a rural county, and fielded questions about what the future may hold with increased numbers of seniors by 2050. The percentage of those 60+ is expected to reach 29 percent. Many changes to our norm can be expected to reach more people in the future. Thank you Cherry for sharing your knowledge and time.

What an absolutely awesome day it has been. Today we have celebrated National Senior Citizens Day! We travelled to Swainsboro for our monthly social, and enjoyed a delicious meal at Lynn & Bob's. The buffet was packed with a grand variety of meats and vegetables, and the salad bar was excellent too. Afterwards, we dropped in for a visit at the Main Street Market Antique Mall to walk off a few calories. Everyone was so very nice and helpful. They welcomed us in, helped us with our packages, and thanked us for stopping by to visit. Finally, we visited Scoops for an afternoon ice cream fix! 😋 I think our 👀's were much bigger than our stomachs. 😂 We had a great time reminiscing, laughing, and fellowshipping.
