We will be hauling rock to Upper Gold Creek, between Cohage Rd and Sally Alley on Tuesday, May 26th. Please watch out for heavy truck traffic on Rapid Lightning Rd and Upper Gold Creek Rd.

Railroad Crossing Closure on Selle Rd 6/8/26 & 6/9/26:

​Woods Crushing and Hauling will be repairing the bumps on the Selle Rd RR Crossing on Monday, June 8th and Tuesday, June 9th. These will be full closures.

Detours will be in place.

BNSF Railroad Crossing Closure on Granite Loop 05/29/2026:

BNSF will be closing the RR crossing on Granite Loop on Friday, May 29th from approximately 8:00am - 12:00pm (depending on the train schedule) for asphalt repair. There will be detours in place.

The City of Oldtown has temporarily closed Albeni Cove Rd for a water line repair approx. between Nagle Rd and Blackthorn Rd for the next couple days.

A Note from the Western Federal Lands Highway Division:

"Western Federal Lands and its General Contractor, MJ Hughes, will begin road construction work along Trestle Creek Road (Forest Road NF-275), between Mileposts 0.0 to 3.7, starting May 21, 2026 and running until November 5, 2026.
The road remains open to local traffic. During active construction (Monday–Friday), motorists should expect single lane closures with delays of up to 30 minutes between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Emergency vehicles will be accommodated immediately at all times.
No construction delays will occur on weekends (Friday 6:00 p.m. through Monday 6:00 a.m.) or during Memorial Day, Independence Day, or Labor Day holiday weekends. Flaggers and pilot cars may be in operation during daytime hours. Motorists are advised to obey all posted signs and allow additional travel time
The impacts allow for the improvement of Trestle Creek Road, by stabilizing eroded banks, installation of new drainage structures, and allowing for a new paved roadway. Thank you for your patience during construction."

Trestle Creek FLAP - Federal Lands Access Project 5/21/26 - 11/05/26:

Trestle Creek Road from Hwy 200 to the snowmobile parking area (appx 3.8 miles from HWY 200) will be closed to public traffic from May 21st to November 5th. Expect thirty-minute delays for local traffic between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m . This is the Trestle Creek Federal Lands Project FLAP - Paving, widening, and creating pullouts every 1000ft for passing purposes for Trestle Creek Rd. The USFS will also have their own project going and will be utilizing the snowmobile parking lot for construction equipment parking.

Please plan accordingly.

Hunt Creek Bridge on Eastshore Rd Night Closure 5/19/26 - 5/21/26:

Eastshore Rd will be closed to all traffic at the Hunt Creek Bridge crossing during the hours of 6 PM to 6 AM from 5/19 - 5/21 due to a culvert replacement.

The only traffic that will be allowed through will be Emergency Vehicles. Please plan accordingly.

MAG-Chloride Application in Bonner County:

We will be starting our application of Magnesium Chloride to the applicable County Roads within the next few weeks. Please see the Road Projects Page of our website for the list of applicable roads.

D1 to start on Monday, May 11th in the Blachard area.

D2 has had some equipment issues with their MAG truck. They will begin as soon as possible.

D3 has started this week (5/4/26).

The treated roads will be marked with signage. Please proceed with caution and drive accordingly.
