Too many working parents are being forced to make impossible choices when it comes to child care. The establishment of the Employee Child Care Assistance Program encourages businesses to support working families by helping provide child care assistance for their employees, making it easier for parents to remain in, or reenter, the workforce.

I’m proud to see our bill signed into law, giving parents a little more breathing room and showing families that the Commonwealth is investing in their success and well-being.

UPDATE: The owners of the Carriage House property have arranged all residents to move into temporary living arrangements, with the city transporting residents via local buses. The owners have committed to the city to make all needed repairs as soon as possible.
