We are excited to announce our second half real estate collection dates across Erie County.

The Treasurer’s office appreciates the partnerships with locations across the County who allow us to collect taxes at their offices.

Also, tax bills were sent out on June 13th. If you have not received your tax bill, visit our website
https://treasurer.eriecounty.oh.gov to pay online. If you select electronic check the fee is only $1.00 and our office receives it the next day. You can also view your real estate tax bill on our website.

The Erie County Treasurer’s Office is hosting a number of forums on property taxation later this month. Treasurer Caleb Stidham will provide an explanation of how real estate taxes are calculated, why your taxes might be going up, and what we as a community can do to lower them. There will also be an opportunity for residents to ask questions and communicate how real estate taxes are affecting them.
Tax Bills will be mailed from our office later this week ahead of the February 19th first half due date.

We are in Vermilion today from 9 am to 12 pm and in Huron from 1 pm to 4 pm for real estate tax collection. Taxes are due on July 17!

The Treasurer’s Office will be collecting property taxes today in Vermilion at Key Bank from 9 am to 12 pm and in Huron at the Library from 1 pm to 4 pm.

It’s everyone’s favorite time of year! First half property taxes are due on February 21st. My office has extended office hours (8 am - 5 pm Monday - Friday) through the due date.

We also have more convenient ways to pay, including on our new and improved website (treasurer.eriecounty.oh.gov), or at in-person locations across the county on February 13 and 14 (see below).
