Hello everyone!!
We have taken quite some time off of making posts on here.
Does anyone remember the last time the North door was closed on the tool shed?
Found another good use for more of my milled up cedar.
Glad to have them functioning again.

Another project update.
The upstairs built in cabinet has been reinstalled with upgraded “repurposed X2 cedar shelves”.
I love things that have a story even if it’s just a shelf!😁so here goes the shelf story…..
First take a look at the cover picture in the North of it you will see power lines with an “H” structure in it. Those cedar trees had to grow big enough to then be harvested made into poles that were then replanted to hold power lines. After they served there purpose and were taken down I suspect Grandpa Merlyn saw a future use for them and dragged a few back to the farm and stashed them out in the south 40.
During the big clean up Uncle Kevin gave his Allis Chalmers a workout bringing the poles onto the farmstead next the to tool shed.
Which brings me to current time and to wrap this up.
With the help of Cousin Loyd and his saw mill we milled up a few poles to
Give the cedar yet another purpose!
I absolutely love being able to repurpose the things on the farm❤️
…sometimes it’s just the small things

A quick share for you.
Had a hidden in the wall find the other day!
So big question of the day is why is. How do you think a pair of vise grips were left behind in the wall?
And, How long do you think Grandpa Merlyn looked for them? 😆

Side note: they were completely rusted and seized up so I did an over night electrolysis treatment and some oil…..and good as new 👍🏻

Working inside the house sure didn’t last long😁! We’ve got a good round of weather and the hay is ready for 2nd cutting.
