A big thank you to all who made our Catholic Charities Erie County First Annual Christmas Party a huge success! Last Friday, members of our Sandusky staff; furniture ministry volunteers; local advisory board; and our leadership team in Toledo - along with spouses and friends/families - were in attendance. We had great food and conversation as well as a fun game based upon The Liars Club TV show.

We were also reminded by Matthew 25:40 that the charitable work we do for the least of our brothers and sisters, we also do for Jesus! When Mary and Joseph were away from home on that very first Christmas Eve with no comfortable place to rest - they had no bed for their newborn baby Jesus to sleep in. When we provide beds and dressers; tables and chairs to those in the local community - we also provide a bed to that same baby Jesus.

Merry Christmas to all who contribute to the work we do here at Catholic Charities, not just during the Christmas season but throughout the year! Without your support we could not serve all of the people that we do! Thank you and God Bless you - and a warm Merry Christmas to everyone in our community! Come Lord Jesus!!!
