Jesus talked about Samaria as a place of outcasts. It was home to the unwanted, the undesirable, societal outcasts like lepers, prostitutes, and different ethnic groups. People at the time used the term "Samaritan" like it was a four-letter word.

The outcasts for most of society today are the homeless.

Jesus specifically called his disciples to reach Samaria, the outcasts, and that's exactly what we're doing at Michigan House of Hope. We're providing shelter and serving the people that society or even sometimes churches would rather not see, rather not deal with. The ones who make people uncomfortable because that's exactly where Jesus said to go.
