June is Men's Mental Health Awareness Month.
Men’s mental health matters, and it’s time we talk about it openly. Too many men grow up hearing that expressing emotion is a weakness, that they should “tough it out” or “deal with it alone.”

That pressure is heavy, and it’s costing lives.
Strength isn’t silence. Strength is honesty, vulnerability, and reaching out when you need support.

Let’s break the stigma. Let’s check in on the men in our lives. Let’s remind them that their feelings are real, valid, and worth talking about.
You’re not alone. You never were.

Sanilac CMH Names Eddie Fury from WMIC Sandusky as 2026 Community Partner in Recovery

Sanilac County Community Mental Health proudly recognizes Eddie Fury from WMIC Sandusky as the 2025 Community Partner in Recovery.

Since joining Sanilac Broadcasting Company, Eddie has supported Sanilac CMH's mission.

His willingness to host radio interviews with our staff has helped promote and educate the community on how to access Sanilac CMH services, reduce the stigma around mental health, and encourage community members to support one another.

On more than one occasion, Eddie has been willing to share his personal story and history, which has definitely supported and helped spread our message, and I believe that by doing so, he has more than likely saves lives throughout the community.

By simply being himself and sharing his compassion, Sanilac CMH is proud to award this worthy recipient the 2026 Partner in Recovery.

Happy Memorial Day!
All Sanilac CMH locations will be closed today, Monday, May 26, 2025. If you have a mental health emergency during this time, call 1-810-648-0330 to be directed to the crisis line. We will resume our regular operation hours on Tuesday.
