Serving Our Seniors

Serving Our Seniors Serving Our Seniors is a private, nonprofit, geriatric social service agency. Judge Lucal, Ray and Marian Koch then co-founded Serving Our Seniors.

The organization is funded through the Erie County Senior Services tax levy, volunteers and donations. Judge Jane Lucal championed the formation of Serving Our Seniors and in 1996 a levy was passed in Erie County to fund the agency.

UPDATE: This bed is no longer available.

ARE YOU OR SOMEONE YOU KNOW IN NEED OF A HOSPITAL BED????

This is a hospital bed that we want someone to be able to use. It’s electric and very helpful and convenient. The remote is attached to the bed, so the person that is using the bed can easily control it. This bed has only been used for a couple months so it is in excellent condition”.

📢 Volunteer Opportunity: Support Ironman & Rotary!

Rotary Family & Friends,

We have a unique opportunity to support our local community, showcase our city to thousands of visitors, and earn grant funding for our club’s projects (like Teach Haiti and Clothes for Kids) all at the same time!

The Ironman Event Coordinator has offered our Sandusky Rotary club a grant if we can bring together 20-25 volunteers. We need all hands on deck—Rotarians, family, neighbors, co-workers, other Rotary clubs, and anyone looking to make a difference.

· When: Sunday, July 19

· Time: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM

· Where: Sandusky

Why join us? Beyond helping our local economy thrive during this major event, your few hours of volunteering directly turn into financial support for children in need, both locally and globally.

Description: We will be checking out the athletes at the conclusion of the race by matching them with their bikes and keeping spectators out of the bike area.

Ready to help us smash our 20-25-volunteer goal? If you will support this opportunity, please email me directly at [email protected]. I need to confirm with the coordinator that we will commit to this opportunity ASAP.
