We would like to express our gratitude to Valerie, Jessie, and Natalie Wensink for the generous donation of stuffed animals.

These stuffed animals will be placed on each of our three ambulances to give out at various times.

While this may seem odd for paramedics to hand out during a 9-1-1 call, these stuffed animals can be a very calming and reassuring measure to a child having a medical issue or traumatic injury. Likewise, when children are on the call as witnesses to family and loved ones during an emergency these stuffed animals can again provide added comfort to the children.
