Ohio Bike Week is back โ€” and weโ€™re excited to welcome riders and visitors from all over! As you enjoy the events, food, and fun, make safety your #1 priority โ€” on two wheels or four.

๐Ÿš“ Hereโ€™s what you need to know:

โŒ DONโ€™T DRIVE IMPAIRED - If youโ€™re drinking, donโ€™t drive. Itโ€™s that simple. Use a designated driver, rideshare, or find a safe way home. Impaired driving puts lives at risk โ€” and weโ€™re out in force.

๐Ÿ”„ SHARE THE ROAD - Drivers: Watch for motorcycles. Check your blind spots. Signal your turns. Give riders room. Riders: Ride smart. Be visible. Be predictable. Your safety depends on it.

๐Ÿช– MOTORCYCLE SAFETY SAVES LIVES - Wear protective gear. Ride sober. Follow the law. Respect traffic signals. One mistake can be fatal โ€” donโ€™t let it be yours.

๐Ÿ‘ฎโ€โ™‚๏ธ EXPECT TO SEE US - We will have an increased law enforcement presence all week long โ€” focused on impaired driving, speed enforcement, and unsafe operation. Our mission: keep everyone safe.

Letโ€™s make Ohio Bike Week 2026 safe and memorable for the right reasons. Ride safe. Drive sober. Watch out for each other.

โœ… No crashes. No injuries. No excuses.

UPDATE 5/22/26 5:00 PM:
We will provide another update tomorrow morning (4/23) at 8:45 AM once the bacterial sampling results can be observed and reported, whether the boil advisory is then to be lifted or remain in place.

5/22/26 8:00 AM:
After further investigation, we have confirmed the precautionary boil advisory will affect the area highlighted in red. The boil advisory will remain in effect until all necessary bacterial sampling has been completed and all samples test negative for bacterial contamination. The bacterial testing process will take a minimum of 24 hours.

Perkins Township - There is a water main break on Columbus Ave. between Perkins Ave and Strub Rd. There are many customers outside that area that will experience low water pressure. Once water service is restored, there will be at least a 24 hour boil advisory. A boil advisory means you should vigorously boil your water 1 to 2 minutes before consumption. Crews have isolated the break and are beginning excavation to repair the break. An update will follow. Out of precaution, we are issuing a boil advisory for the area highlighted in red.

Here is information regarding the boil alert from Erie County DOES.
