Thank you to everyone who came out and joined us for Picnic in the Park last night! It was great to see so many members of our community enjoying a fun evening together.

Congratulations to our two lucky winners of the Goofy Golf passes! We hope you have a fantastic time.

We appreciate everyone who attended and helped make the event a success. We look forward to our next Picnic in the Park on July 23rd at Schiller Park. Be sure to mark your calendars—we can’t wait to see you there!

A big thank you to Grace Bags for their generous donation of 25 bags delivered to our station!

Each bag is filled with hygiene products and essential items that our officers will be able to distribute directly to individuals experiencing homelessness or others in need throughout our community.

These kinds of resources make a real difference when we’re out on calls and come across someone who could use immediate support. We appreciate your compassion and partnership in helping us serve those most vulnerable.

🏍️ Bike Week isn’t over yet! 🏍️

There are still three days remaining of Ohio Bike Week, and we’d like to encourage everyone to keep an eye out for motorcycles while traveling throughout the area.

We have free “Look Out for Motorcycles” yard signs available in the lobby of the Perkins Township Police Department. Feel free to stop by and pick one up for your yard while supplies last. We are located at 2610 Columbus Avenue and our lobby is open 24/7.

Let’s all do our part to keep our roads safe—look twice, save a life.

🎉 Thank you to everyone who attended Senior Bingo at Strickfaden Park! 🎲 We always enjoy spending time with our senior community and appreciate everyone who came out for an afternoon of fun, laughter, and fellowship.

A special thank you to Biggby Coffee ☕ for generously donating coffee, and to the Erie County Senior Center for helping facilitate the event each month. Your support helps make these gatherings possible!

📅 Senior Bingo is held on the last Thursday of every month at Strickfaden Park and is FREE for all seniors to attend. We hope to see everyone again next month! 😊

🚓 Here’s what you need to know:

❌ DON’T DRIVE IMPAIRED - If you’re drinking, don’t drive. It’s that simple. Use a designated driver, rideshare, or find a safe way home. Impaired driving puts lives at risk — and we’re out in force.

🔄 SHARE THE ROAD - Drivers: Watch for motorcycles. Check your blind spots. Signal your turns. Give riders room. Riders: Ride smart. Be visible. Be predictable. Your safety depends on it.

🪖 MOTORCYCLE SAFETY SAVES LIVES - Wear protective gear. Ride sober. Follow the law. Respect traffic signals. One mistake can be fatal — don’t let it be yours.

👮‍♂️ EXPECT TO SEE US - We will have an increased law enforcement presence all week long — focused on impaired driving, speed enforcement, and unsafe operation. Our mission: keep everyone safe.

What an incredible night at the Law Enforcement Torch Run! 🔥🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, donated, and came out to cheer on our runners and athletes. Your support and enthusiasm made the event a huge success and truly showed the strength of our community.

We also want to recognize the officers, deputies, and correction officers from the Erie County Sheriff’s Office, Perkins Police Department, and Sandusky Police Department who proudly ran in support of our athletes and helped make the evening so special.
