For all of you trying to get that RUNDUSKY Race Series card stamped in 2026....

Due to some unforeseen circumstances, the Rush to the Crush 5 miler and 2-mile Wine Sprint scheduled for Saturday, September 19, is canceled.

As this was one of our nine RUNDUSKY events for the season, we are offering two options to replace the stamp on your RUNDUSKY Race Series card.

Option 1- Osborn MetroPark parkrun-
Register for and attend the Saturday, September 19, 2026 parkrun at Osborn MetroPark. More information is available here: https://www.parkrun.us/osbornmetropark/
This is a free weekly event and has some great volunteers. We will have the RUNDUSKY Stamp available that morning to stamp your cards on the Rush to the Crush spot. Be sure to register prior to the event. https://www.parkrun.us/register/?eventName=osbornmetropark

Option 2- Sandusky Christmas Lights Run-
The team at Advanced Sports Timing is working with the Sandusky Christmas Market to bring a first-time event to downtown Sandusky on Saturday, December 12 in the evening. It will be a two-mile run including Washington Park and Columbus Avenue. Details are still not finalized, but this will be another option to fill the Rush to the Crush spot on your RUNDUSKY card. Registration is not open yet, but should be soon.

parkrun is free and you only need to register once, regardless of how many different events you visit and whether you intend to walk, jog, run, volunteer or do a combination.

Stay active and feel your best with SilverSneakers Classic Fitness Class, a low-impact workout from Sandusky Parks and Recreation built for older adults.

This class uses a chair for support and light weights, bands, or balls to help build strength, balance, flexibility, and mobility. All fitness levels welcome.

Classes run Wednesdays, September 9 - October 28, from 9:30-10:30 AM at Sandusky Rec @ Mills School Gymnasium (1918 Mills Street).

Free with a SilverSneakers membership, or $56 for the 8-week session for non-members.

Grab you're dancing shoes, Sandusky! We're hosting an 8-week Line Dancing Class this fall, an easy way to get moving and meet people in the community.

Classes run Tuesdays, September 8 - October 27, from 6:30-8:30 PM at Sandusky Rec @ Mills School Gymnasium (1918 Mills Street).

Cost is $80 for all 8 classes ($10 per class). No experience needed.
