On Saturday, June 28, the Sons of the American Revolution honored Revolutionary War Patriot Micah Blackwell with a ceremony that included remarks, a musket salute, historic marker, and a memorial wreath. The ceremony also recognized the hard-working team that cleaned close to 100 grave markers of patriots and their families. The Historical Commission was proud to host the reception that followed at Sandwich's Old Town Hall. SHC members Joanne Mary Richardson and Jennifer Yunginger Madden were also recognized for assisting with the grave cleaning. Well done, all!
