Sandy Hook Fire & Rescue will be hosting Appalachian Community 2022 Health Days on Wednesday October 12, from 11 am to 3 pm. At the Elliott County Farmers Market Pavilion. 3155 KY-7 in Sandy Hook. Free Health Screenings, many Giveaway, and door prizes. Free COVID-19 Vaccines, and Boosters availability. $25 gift card for receiving Vaccine as well as Boosters. Dec 12th - Victim Search and Rescue
Feb 6th - Vehicle Extrication
Feb 20th - HazMat Awareness
Feb 27th - HazMat Ops
Mar 6th - Pump Ops w/ Simulator
Mar 13th - FF Survival Classroom
Mar 20th - FF Rescue Classroom

Flashover Prop and Survival/Rescue Prop will be scheduled in the area at a later date.

Class times are at 630pm unless otherwise indicated.
All fire departments are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Want to shout out to Lt Ethan Adkins, FF Tennyson Gumm, and FF Jeremiah Flannery for taking the time tonight to strip Engine 4 of all equipment so that it is ready for repair shop this week.

Let us not forget the brave men and women who selflessly gave their lives 21 years ago in New Your, Washington DC and on United Flight 93. Time never really heals a broken heart or makes loss any easier.

We ask that you continue to keep our brothers and sisters in fire, police, EMS, military and the their families in your thoughts and prayers.

They may be gone but they shall never be forgotten.
