A lot of people ask me "What is the biggest policy issue for you?" or sometimes "What made you decide to run?" and my answer is always the same: health care.

In a country as wealthy as ours, it is unconscionable that people go without care or go bankrupt affording it. It doesn't have to be this way.

Here I am explaining my first action as a new House Rep will be to help bring Medicaid expansion to the floor.

Join me on Sunday, August 23rd, to canvass with Georgia Majority for Gun Safety! I am honored to have the support of this incredible organization. My opponent refuses to vote for the most basic gun safety bills, including keeping guns safely stored so that children don’t have access to them, even though over 80% of gun owners back them. We can flip this seat in November and get real gun safety legislation passed!

What a fantastic day in Roswell. Started out canvassing with Edward and learning what issues most concern voters (cost of living and healthcare were top of the list).

After canvassing, my husband and I biked along the river and ended the day with wine tasting (love that I could try 1 oz of anything!) and tapas (delicious). Spend time in Roswell- you will love it too!
