Dolly Parton will always be remembered for her music, but her commitment to literacy may be one of the most meaningful parts of her legacy. Inspired by her father, who never had the opportunity to learn to read and write, she created the Imagination Library and helped put more than 300 million books into the hands of children around the world.

At Entrada, we see every day how literacy can change a person’s life, and often the lives of their children and generations to come. We are grateful for Dolly’s example and for her belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to learn, dream, and create a better future. ❤️📚

🥁 Drumroll, please… the 2026–27 school year is officially underway at Entrada!

Today, our students walked the red carpet while Entrada staff, friends of Entrada, and the Diamond Ridge High School drumline cheered them on. Seeing the smiles on our students’ faces was a great reminder of why a school like Entrada matters. Every student who walked through our doors today came with the hope of earning a high school diploma, building a better future, and changing what is possible for themselves and their families. We are so proud to be part of that journey.

A special thank you to Utah State Board of Education member Erin Longacre, Canyons Board of Education member Karen Pedersen, and Jeff Ojeda from the USBE Adult Education Department for joining us and helping welcome our students.

Our first-term schedule at Entrada Adult High School is set, and we're excited for the new school year! As we continue planning future terms, we want to hear from the people who matter most: our students, graduates, and community.

A new school year. A fresh start. Let's do this!

Whether you're coming back to finish your diploma or thinking about giving school another shot, we'd love to have you at Entrada this fall.

Term 1 starts August 24, and registration appointments are available now! Check out the class schedule below, then head over to https://entrada.canyonsdistrict.org/ to create your account, or give us a call at 801-826-6670 and we'll help you get everything set up. Registration for new and returning students is open now.

Life doesn't always go according to plan. That's okay. What matters isn't where you've been—it's where you're headed. One class, one credit, one step at a time... before you know it, you'll be walking across that graduation stage.

One of the hardest parts of a new school year is saying goodbye to people who have helped shape who we are.

Last week, Lanny Sorensen and Lisa Hunt wrapped up their final days at Entrada. Through their kindness, patience, and unwavering commitment to our students, they've helped hundreds of students find their way and chart a new course for their futures.

We're looking for a special kind of person to join our team at Entrada Adult High School.

The right person is kind. Patient. Hardworking. Organized. Someone who genuinely cares about people and believes education can change lives.

Every day, you'll have the opportunity to help adults who have decided it's not too late to earn their high school diploma. Our students come to Entrada because they're determined to build a better future for themselves and their families. They deserve a team that believes in them every step of the way.

If that sounds like you, we'd love to have you join us.

This is a full-time, contracted position working Monday through Thursday, 10:15 a.m. to 8:45 p.m. You'll work alongside an incredible staff of dedicated, mission-driven people who truly enjoy working together. As an added bonus, you'll have Fridays off, all school holidays off, and most of June plus a few weeks in July off each year.

If you, or someone you know, would be a great fit, applications are open through August 11 at 4:00 p.m.

🇺🇸 Happy Independence Day! 🇺🇸

As we celebrate the 4th of July, we also celebrate a truly historic milestone: America's 250th birthday, marking the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776.

From all of us at Entrada Adult High School, we wish you and your family a safe, fun, and meaningful holiday weekend. We hope you enjoy time with loved ones as we celebrate the freedoms and opportunities that make our country so special.

🎓✨ Celebrating the Class of 2026! ✨🎓

On June 10th, Entrada Adult High School proudly celebrated the achievements, perseverance, and determination of our graduates. Each graduate's journey is unique, but they all share a common commitment to overcoming obstacles and reaching their goals.

We're excited to share this special graduation video created by our talented Film Teacher, Baylee Riley, who beautifully captured the joy, pride, and inspiration of the evening.
