Information . . . All animals adopted are required to be spayed and neutered, which will be payed for at the time of adoption. The animals who are adopted from the shelter receive a free health exam that can be redeemed by our approximate 40 participating veterinarians, within two weeks of adoption. Note: Only anim

Minion is looking for a home at North Utah Valley Animal Shelter! 🤍

Minion is estimated to be between 1–3 years old and is such a cute little guy. He’s a bit of a mystery — he looks just like a Lab, but with the cutest little legs, which only adds to his charm.

Minion is a total sweetheart who loves playing with toys and zooming around having fun. Once he’s gotten his energy out, he’s more than happy to settle down and relax beside his favorite person for some quality cuddle time.

He also seems to know several commands, including sit, shake, and lay down, showing just how smart and eager to please he is.

Meet Titus, a big, handsome boy looking for a home at North Utah Valley Animal Shelter đź’›

Titus is estimated to be between 3–6 years old, and while his size may be the first thing you notice, there’s so much more to this sweet guy.

Shelter life can feel overwhelming, and Titus can be a little nervous when first coming out of his kennel. He’s not the biggest fan of the leash at first and needs a little patience while he gets comfortable. But once he’s outside and able to relax, his personality starts to shine.

Titus loves to run, play, and enjoy the freedom to stretch his legs. You can see a completely different dog once he feels safe—playful, curious, and ready to have fun.

Willow is about 3 years old and is a sweet girl with a big personality and plenty of energy. She’s a strong dog who will need someone confident enough to handle her strength and committed to giving her the structure she needs to thrive.

Dude is a 3-year-old Heeler mix who has been waiting for a home at North Utah Valley Animal Shelter for over six weeks.

This handsome boy is full of personality and energy. One of the first things you’ll notice about Dude is how chatty he is — he’s not shy about letting you know what’s on his mind and always seems to have something to say.

Dude would thrive in an active home that can keep both his body and mind engaged. As a Heeler mix, he has plenty of energy and would love a home with a yard where he can run, play, and burn off some of that classic Heeler enthusiasm.

Ruby at North Utah Valley Animal Shelter has been at the shelter for over a month đź’”

Ruby is a gentle giant and estimated to be between 3–6 years old. She is such a good dog and a big sweetheart who loves attention. She loves it so much that she’ll happily let you know when she thinks she’s not getting enough. She also loves treats and will do just about anything to earn one. Ruby seems to know “sit,” “paw,” and “lay down.”

Piper at North Utah Valley Animal Shelter has been waiting for a home for over two months đź’”

Piper is about 1 year old, which means she has already spent far too much of her young life in a shelter. She should be discovering the comfort of a home, learning to feel safe, and experiencing what it means to be deeply loved.

Piper is such a pretty girl and a true hidden gem. She can be nervous and takes time to warm up to new people, but she has really come out of her shell and continues to gain confidence every day. Watching her open up has been so rewarding. Once Piper feels comfortable, her personality starts to shine. She loves being outside, playing, and enjoying the simple joys of being a dog.

Mickey is looking for a home at West Jordan Animal Services!

This adorable 3-year-old Australian Cattle Dog earned his name thanks to his absolutely enormous ears, and paired with his big, expressive eyes, he has one of the cutest faces you’ll ever see.

Mickey is an absolute fetch fanatic. Seriously—if you threw a ball for him all day, he’d probably consider it the best day ever. He also does well with other dogs and enjoys having canine friends around.

And if you really want to win him over, give him some butt scratches. Find the right spot, and Mickey will dramatically flop onto the ground and break into his signature little wiggle—a hilarious, breakdance-style move that never fails to make us smile.

Mickey may look a little goofy, but that’s part of his charm. Behind those giant ears and silly expressions is an incredibly loving dog who’s ready to leave shelter life behind and find a family to call his own.

This sweet 2-year-old, 40-pound girl recently transferred to South Salt Lake Animal Services after waiting since March at another local shelter, still hoping her person will find her.

S’mores is the kind of dog who quietly steals your heart. She’s gentle, affectionate, and so loving once she feels safe. She can be a little shy at first, but with a little patience, her sweet personality really shines.

She loves playing with other dogs, adores belly rubs, and has wonderful leash manners. She’s happiest staying close to her person—whether that’s on a walk, out on an adventure, or curled up beside you at home.

Poppy is such a beautiful girl and truly a hidden gem. She’s a very nervous pup who needs a little extra time and patience to feel safe, but once she starts to warm up, you can see the incredibly sweet soul underneath. She may need some quiet time with you before she feels comfortable, but she’s looking for a home where she can finally relax, build confidence, and let her personality shine.

Poppy is looking for someone who doesn’t need a dog to run up to them right away to feel a connection. She needs someone who can look past the fear and see the potential, the sweetness, and the deep desire to love that’s waiting underneath. Someone patient enough to let her move at her own pace and kind enough to show her that the world can be safe.
