Get your child’s Reading Club Card from The Book Shelf! It’s all FREE!
Register through the Google link below! Your child’s card will be ready within 24 hours, and then they’ll be able to come by and pick out some books!
We are hoping this program will encourage local children to read! Readers make LEADERS! They can’t get here by themselves though….so that’s where you come in! If your child is a reader, cool! They’ll enjoy the opportunity to gain even more from their reading. If your child isn’t a reader, a “lil loot” goes a long way! Get them involved.
We are just beginning, but we have hundreds of titles to choose from! I’d say that any child up to 9th grade would be happy with the choices. We are working on selections for older kids.
We will be offering children incentives, to keep them reading. Working on a point system, the children will be able to exchange their points for fun items. They will be rewarded for reading, and for returning borrowed books….simple concept.
📚Book Check-in (total) = 1 point
📚Book Report (For younger and special needs Readers) = 3 points
📚Book Report (Older Readers) = 4 points
📌Forms will be made available for both types of reports, upon request!
Prizes/Gifts/Incentives will include things like:

-Art/Craft Parties
-Book Marks
-Stickers
-Decals
-Tshirts
-Books and more!
