Midland County is battling spring mosquitoes with planes, drones and ground crews, using countywide millage funding to target larvae and reduce nuisance and disease risk.

🚗♻️ Our Tire Drive is officially back for Spring 2026!

Mosquito Control is proud to announce our tire drive coming up May 4th - 22nd.

This year, residents can pick up vouchers from our Sanford Mosquito Control office to return passenger tires at GeoCycle in Coleman.

Here’s what you need to know:
• Open to Midland County residents only
• Passenger tires only (rims must be removed)
• A valid Michigan Driver’s License is required to receive a voucher
• Vouchers are uniquely numbered and may not be duplicated

Let’s work together to eliminate mosquito breeding sites and keep our community comfortable this season!

Midland County Mosquito Control is now hiring for this upcoming spring/summer season!

We are seeking field technicians that are excited to be outdoors, a GIS clerk with working knowledge of ESRI or other database experience and enjoys interacting with the public, and biology technicians looking to gain more entomology experience.
