Bread of Life Ministries of Sanford

Bread of Life Ministries of Sanford Salvation Army runs a navigation center in the Bread Of Life building Monday through Friday from 9:00 am-2:00 pm.

Bread of Life is a 501c3 nonprofit that serves the needy through various programs such as emergency shelter, free healthcare, food pantry, meals for life, and clothing. There you can eat hot breakfast, shower, wash clothes and get helpful resources. On Thursdays from 12pm to 4pm you can also get groceries from our food bank.

We serve an awesome God. And HE has blessed us with wonderful volunteers who has passion and compassion to serve those who are in need. Thank you to the body of Christ that pray and intercede for us. We can't do what we are able to do without our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and without your love and support. From bottom of our heart we just simply want to say Thank You!!

Our cooling shelter will be open Monday 08/31-09/05.

Activity Update

Tues 8/25;

Our Jumpstart fed 63 for breakfast and lunch. Pastor Forester gave a devotional from Phil. 2:3 with the theme , Have the Right Attitude.
Webl thank First Baptist for bringing in sack lunches.

Dr Briggs and H3 stayed busy.

Thurs 8/27

Our Jumpstart fed 67 for breakfast and lunch. Pastor Forester gave a devotional from Neh 8:10 with the theme , Train Your Brain.

Our Foodbank was steady until we got the rain. Praise God.

Fri 8/28
Payal, Aaron and Pastor brought in food from Breadbasket.

Sat 8/ 29
Our Meals for Life was sponsored by God's Anointed Sisters in Christ and Prime time Dance Studio. Thank you! We had over a hundred people in our building. We had over 100 in our building. Pastor Forester gave a devotional from 2 Ki 20:17-19, with theme - You better pray for Your Children.
Dr Pate and Sloan stayed busy with H3.

We thank our volunteers this week. Sarah, Bill, Carol M., Katie, Carol , Daniele, David B., Avon, Aaron Sam, Rodger, Karen , Andrea, Kathleen, Kate, Kim and others who lent a hand. We thank all who stopped by and randomly donate food , clothing and their time.
Thanks to all the monetary donations that have made it possible to make much needed improvements.
His hand over us has not been short. We continue to praise our Lord!

Our Cooling Shelter was open with 11 coming in from the heat.

TUES 8/18
Our Jumpstart fed 62 for breakfast and lunch. Pastor Forester have a devotional from 1 Sam 17:46 with the theme: Moving from Failure to Success.
H3 was busy with Dr Hall and Briggs.

Pastor Forester went to Raleigh and picked up food.

Our Cooling Shelter was open with 8 coming in from heat.

Our Jumpstart fed 68 for breakfast and lunch. Pastor Forester gave a devotional from Phil.1:6 with the theme : God Can .

Our Food Bank stated busy.

Our Cooling Shelter stayed open.

FRI 8/21
Pastor and Team Leader brought in food from other Breadbasket.
Walt and Bev dropped off food from CUOC.

SAT 8/22
We thank Ebenezzar UMC of Apex for bringing out Meals for Life. Pastor Forester gave a devotional from Job 8:7 with the theme : Start Small, End Big .
Dr. Hall and H3 stayed busy.
The Foresters went to Moncure Lions Club and picked up a bumper crop of Chicken; bbq ans fixins .

SUN 8/23
431 had their service.

We thank Sarah, Carol, Katie, Tim , Bill, Avon, Rodger, Shirley, Julie, John Paul , Andrea , Sam , Aaron , and all who helped and supported us.
We also thank our faithful Team Leader, Payal , who puts her heart into all she does.

But, Jesus outshines us all ! Praise Him!

We thank the Moncure Lions Club for their huge food donation this weekend. Trays of jumbo quarter chicken legs, stewed potatoes, baked beans , bbq, rolls and banana pudding. A very generous group of good people ! We praise God that their fund rasing was a success! Go Lions !
