Want to learn more about NC Pre-K?
We’re hosting Parent Info Sessions for the 2026–2027 School Year for families who:
✔️ Have not applied yet
✔️ Have already applied but still have questions

These sessions are a great opportunity to learn more about the program, the application process, and what to expect.

Attendance is not required, but all families are welcome! You only need to attend one of the following sessions.

☀️ Free Summer Meal Boxes for Children & Teens 🍎🥪

The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) is providing FREE meal boxes for children and teens ages 18 and under throughout Lee County.

Each box includes 7 days’ worth of breakfast and lunch meals to help families while school is out for the summer.

📅 Available every Tuesday through July 28
📍 Multiple distribution sites throughout Lee County (see flyer for locations and times)

⚠️ Children must be present to receive a box and may only receive one box per week

Please help us spread the word so families in our community can take advantage of this valuable resource💙

El Programa de Servicio de Comidas de Verano (SFSP) está ofreciendo cajas de comida GRATIS para niños y jóvenes de 18 años o menos en varios sitios del Condado de Lee.

Cada caja incluye 7 días de desayunos y almuerzos para ayudar a las familias mientras las escuelas están cerradas por vacaciones de verano.

Congratulations to the Pre-K graduates at Small Hands Big Future Childcare🎓🎉

On May 27, our Early Childhood Education Program Manager, Tonya, was honored to attend their graduation ceremony and celebrate the accomplishments of these amazing children. It is always inspiring to see the dedication of educators, families, and early childhood programs working together to help children build a strong foundation for future success.

We are thankful for the opportunity to join in this special celebration and wish all of the graduates the very best as they head off to kindergarten this fall🍎📚
