A major auto dealer with locations across Florida just acquired a former Infiniti dealership in Sanford for $12.5 million. The company operates several dealerships that sell luxury brands throughout the state.

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is planning improvements along State Road (S.R.) 46 at Richmond Avenue, east of Sanford in Seminole County.

To enhance safety, the project will add a new westbound left-turn lane at Richmond Avenue. Slight widening will be necessary to accommodate the work, but no additional right of way is needed. Additional details are available in the attached project information handout, as well as on the project website at www.cflroads.com/project/453310-1.

“People just routinely over-fertilize and use the wrong detergents,” Abbott said. “As long as we keep putting phosphorus from fertilizers [into the creeks], the problem is not going to go away. But we’re asking to change peoples’ behaviors.”
