KKR uses a CyrusOne project in Texas as a model and calls it a repeatable delivery template:

“one counterparty, one schedule, one balance sheet.”

Then comes the fiber section.

KKR calls fiber a “Strategic Control Point.”

It says fiber isn’t merely adjacent to compute - it is part of the compute fabric. KKR describes a roughly $5 billion global fiber portfolio spanning eight investments and says it holds semiannual Fiber Summits involving more than 20 executives across its fiber companies.

Those meetings produced coordinated purchasing and a 2023 global master service agreement across the portfolio.

KKR’s conclusion is striking:

“At scale, coordination itself has become a source of structural advantage.”
