💜💛 What a day, SMS Tribe! 💛💜

When the AC went out, our entire campus proved exactly what “I can” looks like. Nothing like a can-do attitude and getting it done! We relocated most of our classrooms, shifted on the fly, and never missed a beat.

Adversity makes people stronger, and days like today let you see what people are truly made of. Our staff rose to the top. Not a single complaint, just teachers and teams rolling up their sleeves, problem-solving together, and keeping learning front and center. I could not be prouder of this group.

A huge shoutout to our EFI crew, Chief Picha, Sergeant Hardy, Mrs. Flaa, and Mrs. Faircloth, who helped moved every single desk to exactly where it needed to be. We could not have pulled off today without your muscle, hustle, and heart. Thank you for taking care of us! 🙌

And can we talk about our STUDENTS? đź‘Ź They were absolutely amazing, flexible, patient, and rock stars through every classroom change. They followed along, kept great attitudes, and reminded us why we love what we do. Our kids are the very best.

Ashley shows incredible dedication, energy, and leadership. Her presence creates a welcoming environment for both students and colleagues—greeting everyone with a bright smile and a kind word sets a positive tone for our entire campus every single day.

These two ladies go ALL IN when it comes to building relationships with their students. They show up every single day ready to connect, encourage, and believe in every kid who walks through their door. That kind of heart doesn’t go unnoticed. It’s the reason our students feel seen, supported, and ready to succeed. 💜

What a way to kick off the year!

The first three weeks at SMS have been packed with fun, learning, and a whole lot of Indian pride! Our students have jumped right back into the swing of things. Settling into routines, building friendships, and diving into their classes with energy and curiosity. đź’śđź’›

And if you’ve walked our halls lately, you’ve probably heard it, our choir has been filling the building with music as they prepare for their upcoming Fall Concert! 🎵 The dedication and heart these students are pouring into every rehearsal is something special, and we cannot wait to share it with all of you.

Here’s to a year full of growth, joy, and moments that remind us why we do what we do. This TRIBE is off to an incredible start!
