🚲🛴 E-Bike & E-Scooter Safety at WAMS! 🛴🚲

Motor Officer Rodriguez and School Resource Officer Ayala recently hosted an e-bike and e-scooter safety course for students at WAMS during their lunch period!

Our officers covered important safety tips, including the importance of wearing a properly fitted helmet and understanding the responsibilities that come with operating an e-bike or e-scooter.

Students also learned about basic traffic laws and safe riding practices, such as:
✅ Stopping at stop signs
✅ Riding on the right side of the roadway
✅ Using proper hand signals when turning
✅ Following traffic laws and making safe decisions while riding

🚨 Safety starts with knowledge and responsibility! By practicing safe riding habits and following the rules of the road, students can help protect themselves and others.

A big thank-you to WAMS for giving us the opportunity to connect with students and promote safe riding in our community! 💙
