Bowan's Beach has reopeoned on Monday, March 6, 2023. Lee County Parks & Recreation Annual Parking Sticker City of Sanibel Parking Sticker or $5/hr parking fee is required.

As a reminder -
• Hurricane debris may still be present on the beach, in the water, or buried beneath the sand.
• Shoes are recommended.
• You may encounter uneven terrain.
• Swim at your own risk.
• Please visit lee.floridahealth.gov for more information concerning Red Tide.
• Facilities and beach accesses are limited (you may need to walk further than you used to).
• Trespassing on private property is prohibited.
• Respect posted wildlife areas and dune vegetation.

Hurricane Ian Update: Our parks, preserves, beaches, boat ramps, pools, and centers are closed Tuesday, Sept. 27 & Wednesday Sept. 28. Please check back for updates regarding facility operations in the coming days.
