The Field of Heroes is complete!

Thanks to an incredible group of volunteers, all 2,977 flags have now been placed in honor and remembrance of the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who gave their time, energy, and care to help bring this meaningful tribute to life.

We invite the community to visit the Field of Heroes at Sanibel Community Park. The field is open daily from sunup to sundown through September 15.

Come walk the field, read the names and take a moment to remember and reflect.
