We’ve placed them at self checkout areas, the main circulation desk, the youth section desk, and a few other places. Keep an eye out and grab your favorite. Our Crafternoon Crew was hard at work last Wednesday, coloring and decorating their 3D-printed sea turtles!🐢 Join us again this Wednesday at 3 pm to explore the vibrant world of oil pastels. Get your hands messy and create your own masterpiece!

From her humble beginnings to becoming a music legend and a champion for children and literacy around the world, Dolly Parton has always believed in the power of a good book. Through her love of reading and incredible impact of her Imagination Library, she has helped inspire generations of children to discover the joy of books. As Dolly once said, “You can never get enough books into the hands of enough children.” 📚

We’re honoring Dolly and her lifelong love of literacy with this display at the Library. Stop by, celebrate her legacy, and pick up a book, movie, cookbook, or CD featuring Dolly 💖🎸 She will be missed.

We're back on the island! Registration is now OPEN for the 2026 Sanibel Island Writers Conference! Come join our lineup of best-selling writers and award-winning teachers for three days of craft workshops and discussions about publishing--as well as cocktail hours, keynote addresses, and a musical performance by one of the best songwriters working today.
